MANAGING ATTORNEY

Legal Career

Angela M. Zimmer is licensed in Nebraska. While in law school, Angela worked for the Douglas County Attorney’s Office and argued Tipler v. Douglas County, in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. After law school, Angela became a Judicial Law Clerk for the Eighth Judicial District Court of Wyoming.  Starting in 2009, Angela began working in private practice. After several years of private practice, she worked in-house for two nonprofit corporations, where she developed her skills on the business side.

At Watson & Carroll, Angela provides day-to-day leadership and service to our team.  She manages the business side of the firm including employee benefits, information technology, and case management.

Beyond the Law Office

Angela, also known as Angie, loves the Iowa Hawkeyes football team. She is also a huge Creighton Bluejays basketball fan. When she isn’t watching sports, Angie can be found running or biking. The importance of education, especially early childhood education, and mentoring, Angie believes is the key to making our community the best it can be. Angie takes the time to mentor and finds ways to support early childhood education. When she’s not at the office, Angie is reading two or three books varying from fiction, self-development, business, and psychology.  If you need a book recommendation, just ask. Above all, she loves spending time with her family and their collie, Brittany.
