Angela (“Angie”) M. Zimmer is licensed in Nebraska. While in law school, Angie worked for the Douglas County Attorney’s Office and argued Tipler v. Douglas County, in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, which she won. Following law school, Angie became a Judicial Law Clerk for the Eighth Judicial District Court of Wyoming for the Honorable Keith G. Kautz and the Honorable John C. Brooks. In 2009, Angie began working in private practice before becoming in-house counsel for two nonprofit corporations, where she owned her skills on the business side.
At Watson & Carroll, Angie provides day-to-day leadership and service to our team that mirrors our core values of care, compassion, communication, and consistency. She manages the business side of the firm including employee benefits, information technology, and case management.
Angie being born in Iowa loves the Iowa Hawkeyes football team. She is also a huge Creighton Bluejays basketball fan. When she isn’t watching sports, Angie can be found running or biking. Angie believes education, especially early childhood education, and mentoring are vital to our society. Angie takes the time to mentor and finds ways to support early childhood education whenever possible. When she’s not at the office, Angie is actively reading two or three books varying from fiction, self-development, business, psychology, and everything in-between. So if you need a book recommendation, just ask. Angie maintains an interest in diverse hobbies such as triathlons, yoga, horse show jumping, and photography. Above all, she loves spending time with her family and their collie, Brittany.
